Collection: amor, cuidado y aborto libre campaign

Since the leak of the draft opinion to overturn Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court of the United States in early May, Sofía, and Ignacio put  their artistic and activist minds together to create a message that centers the decisions, desires, and autonomy of people who have abortions. Drawing on inspiration and knowledge from the activism of feminist abortion accompaniment networks, Ignacio and Sofía designed an original illustration and hand drawn text that captures feminist, inclusive, public health abortion messaging and imagery. The text on the design reads "Amor, cuidado y aborto libre" in Spanish, which in English translates to "love, care, and free abortion". The illustration centers a non-binary person. Their feet rest on hexagons which is a shape that often characterizers misorprostol, a pill used to safely and effectively self-manage abortions. They are standing on water, surrounded by plants, and delicate hearts. Soft and light greens, yellows and blues make up the color palette.
